WEEKEND!

Well I thought I would bring up this weekend on my blog because I have to go into detail about my night with Jake and the Jazz players. My Friday night was fun just hung out and relaxed because I wasnt feeling so great during the week and I still had a slight headache and I really wanted to be better for Saturday.
Now here come the fun Saturday night! Jake and I were driving up to the Zions Basketball center (Jazz practice court) and we were so into talking about this girl that was talking crap about "Jimmer". You know Jimmer the BYU basketball player that everyone talks about and it gets annoying? Im not saying that he's bad or anything I am just sick of hearing about him. Anyways I totally thought the girl that he was talking about was me because my cousin Austin and I were arguing about him on facebook. We were so into the conversation we missed out exit! We were trying to make it on time to register and we had to be there at 6:30 and it was 6:25. I was freaking out because I didnt want to be late but it was my fault in the first place because I got lost going to his house. I had Jake drive to Salt Lake because he can speed and not get in as much trouble as me. (If I get another ticket I lose my lisence) Believe it or not we still arrived on time to registration which it didnt really matter if we were there exactly 6:30. Why we were waiting in line to get our pictures taking with Hamilton, Okur, and Evans we messed around took some pictures and talked with Jarrod and his wife (Jarrod works with me). We finally made it into where we got to eat and play with the players. We were both starving so we went and got out Costa Vida and our Diet Cokes. Dinner was really good we both had never had anything but saladas at costa vida so we finally got to try something new and it was AMAZING! not going to lie! After we ate we went straight to where Raja Bell was because I wanted to get my picture with him. (He is so freaking hot) We got out pictures with him and played some basketball. Jake ended being really good at basketball and golf. Raja was impressed with him! We walked with Raja over to the golf station and Jake showed Raja up with his golf swing. He hit the furthest ball the whole night out of everyone! Me on the other hand it took me 6 tries till I fanilly got ahold of the golf ball. (Just to mention Im a softball player completely two different swings) After that we went and talked to Shawn Bradley (former BYU/ Jazz player) wow! was he a giant! He taught me how to hold a basketball and sat with me for atleast 20 mins till I made my first shot. "PUT YOUR HAND IN THE COOKIE JAR" thats how I learned to shoot a basketball. After all the fun games we went and got all the signatures and pictures with everyone that was there.
Then we learned about something that changed my life and made me decide to go to INDIA and help kids with leprosy. The whole reason for the "Night With The Stars" was to raise money for the kids so they could cure more kids with leprosy. I will be going to India for 2 weeks in July to help these sweet kids. Its going to be a life changing experience for me. I really couldnt be more happy!
I had an amazing night with Jake Smith that night! Im so happy that I got to experience that with him!
